Customisation

Logo on the box and the bag, same plate or different. Size to your bottle, not just 750ml. Handle style, board colour, foil colour, and whether you want an insert at all. The insert can be a velvet tray, EVA foam, blister, or paper mould. We can also run the box without an insert if the bag carries the bottle directly.

How the box is built

The box body starts with our standard greyboard, 1200 g minimum. For a 750ml bottle with the bag included, that base is enough to keep the set from flexing in transit. Facing paper is 157 g minimum specialty or coated stock. You can spec white card, kraft, silver or gold card, or corrugated paper as the visible surface. The handles, if you add them, are selected to match the board weight and the bottle load.

The matching paper bag is built to carry the filled box. We don't treat the bag as a throw-in. Its board and the box board are chosen together so the set doesn't feel mismatched. Lamination is available on both, which matters if the set will sit on a shelf for a season. The box corners are held to our standard: 90 degrees when erected, magnet position plus or minus 1 mm if a magnetic closure is used.

Bottle fit and checks

The insert, if you add one, holds the bottle at four points. No unsupported neck or shoulder. That's the rule we apply to every wine box, including this set. We check it three ways before the order ships: shake the loaded box for 10 seconds and listen for movement, tilt it 45 degrees and watch for slide, then invert it and confirm the bottle stays put. The bag gets the same treatment with the filled box inside. Our control tolerance is plus or minus 1 mm on the insert and plus or minus 2 mm on the box body, so the fit you approve on the sample is the fit you get in the run.

Where it works

This set suits a winery's holiday release, a corporate gift for a client who drinks red, or a retail shelf where the bag makes it easy to carry out the door. It's not the right pick if you need a box that will be reused for years as a keepsake. For that, a solid wood box or a rigid board box with a heavier facing is a better call. If your bottle is an unusual shape, like a very tall Riesling or a wide Burgundy, tell us before you approve the structure. The bag can be sized to match, but only if we know early.

Can the bag be a different colour from the box?

Yes. The bag is printed separately, so you can match it to the box or run a contrast colour. We recommend approving both on the same physical sample so the board tones read correctly together.

Is the handle strong enough for a full bottle?

The handle is selected after we know the bottle weight and the board spec. For a standard 750ml glass bottle, the handle options we offer hold up in our in-house checks, including the 1.2 m drop test with the bottle loaded.

Do you ship the set as one unit?

Yes, the box and bag are packed together as a set. We can flat-pack the bag inside the box to save freight volume, or ship them nested if you prefer. DDP door-to-door is available if you want us to handle the full route.
