Who we are

The legal entity is Yiwu Jialan Package Co., Ltd. Jialan Package is the brand name we use with buyers. We were founded in 2014 and have been in Yiwu since day one. That's the whole company history. No mergers, no parent group, no side ventures.

We ship to customers in over 30 countries, mostly in Europe and North America. Buyers find us because they need a wooden wine box that holds up in transit and looks right on a shelf. Some stay for the rigid boxes and bags. That's fine. We'd rather you buy the right structure than force a wooden box where it doesn't fit.

Our work is split between OEM and ODM. Some buyers come with a finished design and a spec sheet. Others come with a bottle and a budget. Both paths start with a conversation about what the box actually has to do: protect the bottle, sit on a retail shelf, survive a courier van that gets loaded three times before it reaches the customer. We ask those questions early because they change the structure, the materials, and the price.

What we make

Wooden boxes are the core of this site. Solid wood, two structures. Faux wood for the look at a lower cost. Then the rest of the range, presented honestly: rigid board boxes, leather boxes, and wine bags. Eighteen rigid structures alone, because sometimes cardboard is the smarter choice.

We do lid-and-base, magnetic closure, drawer, foldable, double-door, and boxes with handles. Inserts run velvet tray, EVA foam, blister, and paper mould. Materials are greyboard with specialty paper, kraft, white card, gold or silver cardboard, flocked paper, leather-textured paper. If you need something not on this site, ask. We design around the bottle.

Inserts matter more than the outer box. Our rule: the bottle is held at four points, with no unsupported neck or shoulder. We check by shaking for 10 seconds, tilting to 45 degrees, and inverting the box. If the bottle moves, the insert goes back to the drawing board. That's not a marketing claim. It's a test we run on every new structure before it goes to a buyer.

How we work with buyers

It's OEM/ODM from the first message. You send box dimensions or a bottle sample, a reference design, quantity, and any special requirements. We come back with structure options and material choices. Two sample types: a blank sample to check fit, then a printed sample to check the visual. Payment by T/T or PayPal. Shipping by air, sea, or express.

We control what we can measure. Insert tolerance plus or minus 1 mm, box body plus or minus 2 mm. Foldable boxes: creases must not crack, magnet position plus or minus 1 mm, corners at 90 degrees when erected. Pantone matching, first-article approval, mid-run sampling. Black, deep blue, and burgundy are the hardest colours to hold. Our in-house checks include a 1.2 m six-face drop with the bottle loaded, top load of 40 kg or more for 24 hours, and vibration simulation. No movement inside means it passes.

One blunt note: if you're buying a wooden box mainly to look expensive and the bottle will never travel, a rigid board box might do the job for less. We'll tell you that. It's your call.

Board weight is another thing we control. Greyboard at 1200 g minimum, 1400 g recommended for spirits. Facing paper at 157 g minimum, specialty or coated. No recycled greyboard, no high-moisture paper. These are choices we make before you ask, because they affect how the box feels in your hand and how it survives a drop.

Colour is where buyers get surprised. Pantone matching is standard, but black, deep blue, and burgundy shift with the light and the substrate. We approve a first article, then sample mid-run. If the shade drifts, we catch it before it ships. You'll see the same colour on the shelf in London and in a photo taken in a warehouse. That's the goal.
