Customisation

You can change the surface paper, the color, and the logo placement. The insert is cut to your bottle. The magnetic flap can be set for single, double, or triple bottle layouts. How this box is built

The body is rigid cardboard, not corrugated. It's wrapped in a leather-style paper that gives the surface a soft, matte feel. The magnetic flap is set into the board so it closes flat and stays closed. The handle is attached through the top panel, which means the load path goes through the board, not just the surface paper.

The insert is separate from the outer box. You can choose EVA foam, velvet, or paper mould. The insert holds each bottle at four points, so the neck and shoulder are not carrying any load. We cut it to your bottle's actual diameter, not a generic size.

How the bottles sit

Your bottle dimensions drive the insert. We cut the insert to hold the bottle at four points: base, lower body, upper body, and neck. The neck is supported, not wedged. We don't leave the shoulder unsupported. Before the box ships, we run three checks with your bottle loaded: shake it for 10 seconds and listen for movement, tilt it 45 degrees and see if the bottle slides, and invert the whole box to confirm the bottle doesn't release. If it fails any of those, we recut the insert. Our control tolerance on the insert is plus or minus 1 mm.

This box works for two-bottle gift sets, holiday promotions, and retail shelf displays. Wineries use it for a pair of reds or a red and a white. Corporate buyers use it for client gifts. Can this box hold two different bottle shapes, like a Burgundy and a Bordeaux?

Yes. We cut the insert to match each bottle's actual profile. You send us the two bottle dimensions or a sample bottle of each. The insert will have two different cavities, one for each shape. We check the fit with both bottles loaded before the box ships.

Will the magnetic flap stay closed during shipping?

The magnet is set into the board and the flap closes flat. We check the magnet position at plus or minus 1 mm. For shipping, the box goes inside a corrugated outer carton. The flap is not the only thing keeping the box closed in transit.

Is the handle strong enough for two full bottles?

Yes. The handle is attached through the top panel into the board. We test the loaded box with a 1.2 meter six-face drop and a 40 kg top load for 24 hours. The handle doesn't pull out. If you want extra reinforcement, we can add a hidden board strip under the handle.
